Taharah Board ("we", "our", or "the app") is a desktop application designed to assist users in tracking family purity (Taharat Hamishpacha) schedules, halachic calculation dates, and reminders. We are strictly committed to user privacy. Taharah Board operates under a Local-First architecture: all personal entries, calculation records, and logs are stored exclusively on the user's local machine. We do not operate a central server, and we have no access to your personal data.

Google API Access and Data Usage

Taharah Board provides optional integrations with Google services via OAuth 2.0. When you choose to connect your Google account, the application interacts directly between your local device and Google APIs:

• Google Drive API (drive.file scope): Used exclusively to create and update a single private backup spreadsheet in your personal Google Drive account. The app cannot read, modify, or access any other files in your Google Drive.
• Google Calendar API (calendar scope): Used exclusively to manage a dedicated secondary calendar ("Taharah Board Reminders") in your Google Calendar account. The app inserts reminders and schedules email notifications for upcoming examinations and separation dates so you receive timely notifications even when your desktop computer is off.

Limited Use Disclosure

Taharah Board's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data Sharing, Advertising, and AI

• We do NOT sell, rent, or transfer user data to third parties.
• We do NOT use Google user data for advertising, marketing, or retargeting.
• We do NOT use Google user data to train generalized AI or machine learning models.
• Google tokens are stored locally on your device in secure app storage and are never transmitted to us.

Revocation and Data Deletion

You can disconnect your Google account at any time via the app's settings menu, which immediately deletes all locally stored access tokens. You can also revoke access directly through your Google Account settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions. You have full ownership to delete the backup file in Google Drive or the secondary calendar in Google Calendar at any time.
